Title: Memorial Day 2020
Post by: FL SAAC on May 22, 2020, 07:14:55 PM
As we enjoy the Memorial Day weekend with friends and family, let each of us resolve to take a moment — if not longer — to thank those who gave their lives in order that we might be able to enjoy the freedoms that make America the greatest nation on earth.

Indeed. May they never be forgotten. It's not about BBQs.
I hate when people wish me a happy Memorial Day.
It's about remembrance of those who didn't return home with us and those who gave all.
If you want to wish me a happy day be sure to do it on 11 Nov, Veteran's Day.

Thanks, Tony for not forgetting my brothers who did give all. I lost a very close friend in Grenada. Captain Michael Ritz.  Sadly he had lost his daughter in a vehicle crash in the months just before the invasion.  26 men lost their lives during Urgent Fury. 119 casualties in total.

We know that these feelings and experiences will never leave us.
Keep smiling and carry on soldier, on the outside all is well...
