Less than you pay. Each will be different. Not a collectible, no vintage era history, automotive sculpture that buyer options how they want it. Glass car is Superformance kit with CSX#.

Desirable??? Maybe but I can't understand why. None of the original DNA or craftsmen working on it. It will never be a collectible since they are only limited in production by the number of people buying them. I guess if you need bragging rights that you spent more on the same product then the next guy. Myself I'd rather put the extra into horsepower or gas. But like they say there is an a$$ for every seat a Kirkham 427 in aluminum is $100,000. SA is selling the exact same car with a CSX6000 number for $81,000 more. That's a lot of money for a 1 ounce aluminum tag and some pop rivets.

I believe the $100K base price is for a roller without the engine, transmission, etc.

Depends, if you are looking for a car to drive, the CSX # does not matter. If you are looking for an investment, then the CSX # does not matter either, as it will never be an original, just a reproduction and it won't be till your great,great grandchildren are around before it will be considered a good investment, and even that comes in to question. But then again, it's your money, and your personal tastes, wants, and needs, so it's strictly up to you in the long run. My advice is to just not get caught up in the advertising hype of one vs the other.

+1, probably won't find better quality than their metal bodied cobras. Question: How many Polish guys does it take to build a Shelby Cobra? Ask Kirkham.

You could find a much more interesting original Shelby American product for either price.IF you played your cards right it still makes a solid (long term) investment IMHO.The new stuff will just hemmorage cash.......
A real 427 w little history is around $1M these days and the Daytona Coupes are just for ppl w $12M to burn in their pocket :'(

It is interesting to reflect on this post. In 2002 a 4000 Continuation Series Cobra in aluminum was about $55K to $60K, a 7000 Series cost more do to the more labor intensive body. Today a similar 6000 Series Continuation Cobra, but not built by SAI, is $200K in aluminum for a roller. Sale prices of completed 4000 Series aluminum Cobras have hit $395K.
