More like a coupe Mustang I with fatter rear fenders.
There's a family resemblance.
How do they know its a GT40?
They didn't recognize the Mach 2 show car.

Ford Cardinal 1,500 cc 60 degree V4 out of Cologne. The Cardinal was killed prior to production, intended for NA as a VW Beatle competitor.

It was an industrial ground power engine - for running generators, pumps, etc. Design was later updated to V6.
