I have decided to call my red Hertz "Dorian Gray" due to the painting I commissioned on 6s843.
My kids and a niece call mine the "Rustang"
Must have been the winter driving and two trips to the Bonneville Salt Flat that caused that name
We have the Red Rocket, White Lightning and Big Bertha. The other cars are called by proper names...Shelby, Eliminator, SVO
My buddy bought a 68 GT350. He asked if I thought Sally was a good name for the car. My response is below. It is not politically correct and not meant to offend anyone, but he thought it was hilarious.
"IT'S A SHELBY, DON'T GAY IT UP!" ;D
"The Mistress" My wife's idea after the three years I spent restoring it in the late 80's. And yes, we are still happily married.

Dot-Com
This is my late father-in-law's Mustang that he bought in 79, and we restored about 10 years ago. He could never understand what dot-com stood for because he would hear it on radio commercials. So that's what we named his car🏁

Yup, that my 67's name also, or I say the GT350. People give me that blank look, like what is it? Thats the problem with my Ford GT, I call it the GT and they think its a 95 Mustang GT or something like that.
especially back when the kids were small we always had nicknames for the D.D.s - and have sort of carried on with that - but the Tiger was known simply as "the Green Car" (we've had a LOT of white vehicles over the years).
... now it is just "the Tiger".
I do sometimes refer to it as "my little green car" when talking with enthusiasts of "other brands" ??? ::) to try to avoid sounding like I'm bragging ;D
"OL SHEL"
my Shelby is The "vert". My Mach is the SCJ
"The KR."
A friend nicknamed my car CASPER because it's white and so fast it will disappear in front of your eyes.

That's a really good one. Highly creative.
Mine was named by a group of Marines during a Toys-for-Tots event many years ago, as I always dropped a full load of toys off with the car.
The Great Pumpkin
the owner before me named 241 "katrina " because it's supposedly escaped damage from the hurricane ... i have to admit that i talk to her but not using the nickname !!!!
