Was curious about this question.... Was the C8ZE-S1 radiator shared with the Boss 429? I know they were used in assemblyline for 428CJ/SCJ.
Thanks

c8ze s is auto boss 9 used c8ze-l like all big block 4 speeds

See if it has the cooling line fittings at the bottom. Best way to tell if 4 speed on those

The bottom tank on c8ze-s is unique on big block auto rads vs 351 a/c auto even thou they are the same width and lenght lower tanks. The difference is the distance apart of the 2 auto trans cooling line fittings. The c8ze-s big block auto fittings are wider apart than 351 a/c auto fittings and (if u ever take the rad apart to clean and recore) u will see that the auto trans cooler round tube in bottom tank is bigger diameter and longer on the bigblock c8ze-s vs 351 a/c cooler tube . The auto trans hard lines are bent differently where they attach to rad lower tank fittings between the big block and 351 a/c . I recently had to fix a customers C6 auto 428 scj mustang car that the rad wasnt fitting correctly and the hard lines were in a bind. When i took rad out i seen where it was pieced together from other rad side straps and top and bottom tanks and it was assembled with a 351 a/c bottom tank and that why the C6 hard lines didnt fit correctly. I restored the rad with correct C6 big block bottom tank and everything fell into place and fit perfectly when rad was reinstalled. The problem is nobody makes the correct big block lower tank with the C6 wider trans oil cooler so u have to find a used original and they are getting hard to find. All aftermarket auto rads only come with smaller shorter 351 a/c lower tank cooler so u have to find an original c8ze-s rad if u have a bigblock and u want to restore it correctly.
