Only a little less more than three hours to go before the big celebration here out in the middle of the Pacific. Way too quite all evening with no professional or illegal aerial displays. But there is a great feeling that we will have a return to fun days and good drives soon. 8)
Looking back, 2020 was a lesson in reminding me of things I took for granted...Things like seeing peoples' faces, things like going to a crowded restaurant, going to a public event, attending a "cars & coffee" and "swapping lies" with friends, sitting in a student's car while instructing rather than "lead-follow"...and so much more. It's shown me that freedom is not so free when politicians are involved. Here's to a better, safer, free-er 2021!
Glad the Dumpster Fire known as 2020 is behind us
Hopefully 2021 will allow a normalcy to return.
