Yes Pomona Fair Grounds but  no, it was the Grand National Roadster show a few years back . Thank you for the kind words. There are other you tube videos showing me making a run at Autoclub Speedway Fontana. I will have it at SAAC 43 and smoking the tires and lifting the front wheels. I hope you are going the three hour drag race program on Friday afternoon is a blast. This year will not disappoint.

Randy, way to represent!

Nice, concise description of your car, no ums, ahs, sloppy car guy slang etc. Great engaging demeanor.
It is very obvious your knowledge base is broad.

Why does this matter? Because the hobby and sport need that! We are at a point where we need as many friends as possible. Seriously.

Then there is your car. I love it. Love that you drive a car that is legally raced at that level.

Totally love the day 2 wheels, tires, go-fast upgrades. This car is awesome. Can't say how much I love your car.

Hey Randy, that was a nice interview and a great description of your Shelby.

I noticed that your distributor cap has holes between some of the cylinder contact points. What is their value to performance and are they placed at a predetermined specification?

     Steve,
That is an often asked question. I run a very high amperage MSD 7 AL ignition . There was speculation years ago that when using the "small cap" ( original)  , the air inside the cap "could" suffer from ionization , so "we" racers drilled some vent holes in the lower portion of the cap to let it "breathe". That cap has been on the car for many years with no signs of a miss so I leave it there.

Thanks to all for the kind words. I prefer a "stealth" look to my cars so decals and lettering are not on the plan.I'm looking forward to SAAC43 and flexing it's muscles. Maybe with a new power plant.
