Let's see if how I do it still works -
After the crash of the original SAAC forum and at the dawn of this latest version someone (an Admin?) posted instructions on how to post a pic.
I still do it that way - which is to go the the "Gallery" pulldown menu at the top of the page, go to "Add Picture", go to the second "User Gallery" field, under the "Category" pull down select "My Gallery" then click the "Add Picture" button.
Then I name the photo I am going to upload and next to the "Upload Picture" I click the "Choose File" button.
That will send me to my computer where I select the photo I want. Keep in mind that it is important to have the photos sized properly, so that they are not too big or too small when they appear in the thread.
When I upload my picture I can see its name next to the "Choose File" button.
Then, below that I click the "Add Picture" button - that sends me to, and places my new photo in, my gallery.
I then click on the photo - it will display and under it you will see a "Image Linking Codes". Click on the two little blue page icon to the right of the "BB Code" and that selects your photo.
Then go to the thread, type in the brilliant observation you are going to make or the hilarious joke and underneath that "paste" your photo into the thread.
I then click "Preview" to see how it looks before I post it.
That's the way I dooze it!

Guys, read propayne's post above... it works exactly like he says.
Yes that (what Phillip said) works - wonder why the normal way doesn't? This is something new.

Thanks, Phillip, for the info. Your method works perfectly. Appreciate your taking the time to post those directions for us.

Thanks Phillip for the info, I've tried half a dozen times and can't get it to work ::) too many steps ! I know it's a matter of getting
used to it :-\
I prefer the option of the old way of adding an image to the post, it was one simple step, I find this frustrating !
Can't one of the administrators correct the upload folder is full problem ? It doesn't happen often.
Or is this the new way it has to be done ?

^^^ +1,
The significant administrator is similar to the tax assessor. Most of the time you never hear or see them.
They certainly don't appear when you need them, just when there is something else at play, largely sinister? ::)
I feel your pain (payne) - I am so tired of wrestling with technology.
As soon as you've got it figured out it changes.
