Does anyone have a part number for a 1966 Hertz Master Cylinder?

That would be the early version.  For some the dating may be important also. You'll find it at the base of the master cylinder where the cap retainer clips into. There is an early and later date code pattern also

Has anyone correlated if the date pattern change correlated with the the change from brass flare adapter vs. flare fitting made into casting or not?

On my part I'm still collecting data points and examples as part of the 66 Running Changes thread over on CMF. Its close but can confirm right now that its a direct match

Would be interested in additional examples with the date and which threads a unit has. Might be a good start of a new thread

This is not documented nor in anyway scientific but I've always thought it was around time motor mounts changed over
