Title: Air Conditioning Control Panel Color

Is the A/C control panel on the lower left (driver's side) of the dash supposed to be painted brown?  The other dash panels seem to have a woodgrain insert, but the control panel on mine looks brown.

I see repro woodgrain decals for the control panel for sale.  Are those just restomod items to give it a "better" than new appearance?

The brown paint is correct. No woodgrain. Mike
