Still, I bet it was fun! The drive, playing with the fishtails....The only problem is the other person! Has anyone ever noticed that when it rains or snows for that matter, people drive faster with less respect for the road?

The Hertz behaved well. Rain came down in buckets. A couple of rear end traction issues coming off the start. The wipers work but are not the greatest so to counteract that I put a ton of rain X on the windshield. At 40 mph it rolls off swimmingly. And yes, I notice that worse weather brings out more aggressive driving tactics.
Did your seals for the cowl vents hold up?
No water infiltration until I turned on the vent fan and a few drops started coming in.
And how did the underides help? Perfect traction? ;)

I wouldn't characterize it as perfect. And my car 843 actually has overrides.

Ah yes, I wasn't sure of the number! Equally fun with overrides
Be careful - you know what happened last time I drove her in the rain. I will admit my Caldwell race recaps weren't a good choice. But like you I didn't check with the weather gods either.
It was sunny and clear. Then it wasn't.
