Sadly from 2030 on all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station fuel pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime :-((

CA and NY will only allow zero emissions cars to be sold after 2035. I'll argue that you should only be able to charge them with solar since most wall sources for power comes from coal and gas. Of course even further is the fact that just making the solar panels and electric cars is a very dirty process.
Maybe we need to go Amish. But then we'd have to capture the methane.

I live in England, From 2030, All new Petrol and Diesel engine cars are banned from sale. Not heard a peep about the rest of what the post is saying.
We need to start making preparations...we only want the gasoline and we will spare your lives. Just the gasoline...

Assuring a market for all that lithium they will be mining in Afghanistan to make dirty electric car batteries for Chinese cars the world will be forced to buy.
