A future collectible? Not exactly rare. Lol!
These have already got a following - I'll take one in 750hp please. There was a drivers school at Buttonwillow a couple years ago and a guy had rented one. He covered the license plate - but not the VIN tag ;D

Good for two U.S. based businesses, as long as the rental Teslas are not painted black with gold stripes. 8)

The Plaid would be worthy of black/yellow/gold paint. 1020 HP 0-60 1.99 seconds https://www.tesla.com/models
$17 a day and 17 cents a mile I'm in - I'll even return it charged. But at $130,000 (146 fully equipped) the business model just doesn't pencil out.
Needs side-pipe exhaust for better aggressive tone. 8)
Tesla qualifies for the coveted three H award = Horrible, Hideous and Horrendous looking
That is only because they refuse to add stripes to it.
Don't forget your history guys - the black & gold scheme was part of the GT350 sales pitch and harkened back to day 1 at hertz when they added gold pinstripes to their Model Ts.
Also don't downplay the fact that Hertz sold/lost a lot of driving stock in their recent BK.
And never lose sight the pure and simple fact that Mark Fields was shown the door at Ford and is now interim CEO at Hertz.
I don't think he's looking for ways to help Ford sell cars since the sales slump under his watch was one of the big reasons he was allowed to retire.
People will crash them. :o
