Title: Enclosed 1-2-car hauler needed, San Diego to Wichita KS. Recommendations?
Post by: Side-Oilers on June 07, 2022, 01:46:03 PM
I believe I have sold my GT500KR (finalizing tomorrow) to a Ford collector. He owns GT350s, a B9, and a Torino with a 428CJ, among others.

He's had bad experiences with the big 18-wheeler type of transporters, including some car damage, and so he only wants to ship in a one- or two-car enclosed 5th wheel type of trailer.

Load the car here, unload it in KS.  No warehouse lay-overs or off-loading along the way.

Who have you guys used that you can recommend?

Thanks much,
Van

I used Steve Wells from New World Auto Transport for my Ford GT.  I'm sure rates are way up due to fuel prices, but it was $1500 from MO to eastern PA in 8/20.  He is a transport broker.  I only used him once, but a good experience.

I used this company several years ago with no issues.

Thanks everyone. I found a good guy, from a recommendation by a Cobra owner friend of mine.

Now it's off to Kansas with my beloved KR. Sniff.  :(
