What could you replace it with?

What could you replace it with?
Great question. Nothing!
It’s top dog Holy Grail country for a Boss 302.

I always thought this was cool- Boss script in the inner quarter from the factory. I've seen it in two out of the three Boss cars I've had over the years.
-
Is the script made out of seem sealer?
-
Yes, appears to be seal sealer. The first car I saw it on was an untouched original and was surprised to find it behind the panel (cant remember if that was a 69 or a 70 Boss 302). Then when I saw it again on this 70 Boss 302 it made me wonder how common it was.
-
What's a 1-of-1.Factory 4.30 rear, Deluxe Vermillion interior, Shaker car worth? That's the question. Then that will determine what you can replace it with.
I really like how the car sits. It has a great stance. Does it have any goodies under the hood? Cross Boss etc?
-
Did the white come out of CT within the last year or so? I spoke to a guy last year who had one with the same color combination here in CT and it looks like the same car. I think the one I saw sold once via Craigslist and then changed hands again all within the past year or so- probably flipping it. I'll have to look to se if I kept pictures.

Wow, this thread really reminds how much I love Boss 302's. Don's blue Boss is killer.
-
They are great cars Brian.
And very functional. There were so many beautiful ones at SAAC Pocono a few years ago I was convinced I needed one.
Meaning another one because I’ve had a few over the years as have many of us.
The 3.91 and 4.30 rear cars are esspecially fun to drive.
-
One I wish I still had. Mike G.

Orig paint car I had a few years ago.

SAAC-14.
Original paint car we took out there. Oh the good old days! I have a bunch of pictures from that show I was going to scan and post in the Pocono Forum area of other cars from the show in that giant parking lot- I'll try to get around to it.

Quebec, Canada. Photo is aprox 1973, license plate is dated '73.

That is the best picture so far!!!! I had a Boss9 same grabber color GREEN! Number 2217. What does OG mean? Original? If so, my 302 does not qualify as it was in the "Flood of 72" Elmira, NY (underwater) now underwater in value!
-
Once again I'm going off topic, it is Boss 302 thread, but I couldn't find a thread specific to period shots of Boss9 cars ::) ;)

Great thread !

OG stands for "Original Gangster " but has morphed to mean Original group or just Original old almost anything. I was at Thunder Hill Raceway a few weeks ago with Nor Cal SAAC and talking to someone and they asked me how long I had been in the club and I replied I was an OG and I had to explain it to them. At one of our Mini Nats about 20 years ago we got a group of OG's together and there were only about 15 of us left from the 70's. I think its only a little more than a handful now.
Bigfoot, did you ever change out the 28 spline axles I see in your pictures and maybe switch to real Minilites?
