You've got to check out the latest edition of Barn Find Hunter from SAAC member and all around great guy Tom Cotter:

If this doesn't get you excited, you are dead. :P
Gumball Rally anyone?
Great stuff there, thanks for posting the link. Tom Cotter is OK!
...and he done found 'em rot cheer in Nawth Kalina! It don't git no better'n that!
I'm speechless! So sad to see those poor, neglected cars. The owner must've gone off the "deep end".
Anyone know the CSX number of the COBRA. I'm sure we will see it at an auction sometime soon. Was it an original paint car?
Is it CSX3278?
After reviewing the registry, that's what I came up with.
It is indeed 3278. Does anyone know anymore details other than what is in the registry?
Geez. What a great find.
I think an angel just got it's wings!!!
Wow, awesome. Thanks for sharing
The Barn Find Hunter Cobra and Ferrari will be auctioned off at Amelia Island in March.

Just spoke with Tom and he told me he had a huge hand in getting them to auction. Perhaps he needs to change his title to Barn Find Hunter/Good Samaritan.
One more thing if anyone is interested:

I wonder if they will go across the block as filthy as they are?
I get why they are that way. The find has been thoroughly documented so I say wash the dang cars.
If I were going to spend that much, I wouldn't be upset if they got rid of the mouse piss stank!

Isn't that part of the "Barn Find" thing?
A friend recently told me that greatest invention you could come up with would be 'Instant Barn Find' in a can. Just spray it on a car you want to sell, and instantly it smells like a combination of dirt, hay and mouse shit.
^^^ yeah, sounds good - but does it include a special tool for chewed wires as well? ::)

Pretty good payday.
Yes, a very, very nice payday!
I have to say, I'm certainly not a Cobra expert by any means...and, this seems to be strong money, given the condition of the car and work that will probably be required to get it running.
Never underestimate the power of a barn find!
Looks well bought and sold.
