Title: '67 Convenience Group
Post by: Survivor on November 07, 2018, 02:41:56 PM
Looking for clarification on the '67 convenience lights-if the car was ordered with both the deluxe interior and  console, could the 4 lights/knobs still be located on the center dash piece or did it have to be located on the console.

Since this was not a Shelby detail you may want to ask your question over on  www.concoursmustang.com  for the possibility of the best results.

They were on the console as well to accommodate if A/C was an option.  I had a few cars with this setup (lights on console)

Usually IF the car had AC then they lights were on each side of the console storage door.
However, I've seen some original non AC cars with factory console that have them on the console.  May have just been an "as it came down the assembly line"
choice or decision by the worker at the time since this option wasn't ordered much.  I think it's rare to see a car with one that most of it is
still intact and works.
