Post by: bobboss351 on November 19, 2018, 11:18:53 AM
I have what I believe is 4 original  production wheels,  Curved lip on  front face of rim, not straight. No rivets to hold halves together and Not welded, Here is some pics,,, Is there someone that is doing restorations on these, I know this has been covered and tryed searching the history ,  So sorry for the question.

Bob:  you have the glued together rims.  (IF) they are able to get them apart without breaking anything.   There are people that will restore the center and then install a new currently made rim and then bolt it together with Grade 8 cap screws.  The cost to do this by the time you pay shipping each way is about the same as getting the new rims which are much safer.  give me a call and Ill fill you in better  JC  920 434 3645

+1 on getting new rims.

If you restore them they will have to use DOT rims anyway, just keep the original.
