Assuming the road is open by then, anyone interested in going for a drive up Bouquet Canyon, then Elizabeth Lake road, Lake Hughes road, or whatever, Saturday Dec 15th?
Thanks to Doug C for the info, we can meet at the cars and coffee held at Bouquet Canyon and Valencia Blvd. Even if you don't want to go on a long drive, stop by.
It's going to depend on how bad the road got beat up by the storm.
excellent routes! We do them frequently with the Ferrari Club. Soledad Cyn is another favorite
Make sure you guys make an afternoon into the evening cruise, to take in the Christmas lights at the top of Copper Hill and surrounding streets. Truly a fantastic light show event, sometimes it takes a few hours to take it all in! :)
Nice to meet Greg and Doug at the cars and coffee event. The roads were good, no debris and Bouquet Canyon was open all the way. Some snow on the side of Pine Canyon, but no icy spots on the road. I came back via San Francisquito and stopped at Power Plant #1 and the dam failure site, walked down the old section of road to view the dam site. About 180 miles round trip, my CSX4000 was humming along.

Was there in spirit. Drove my KR today after the rain.
Pulling "U" and then putting on Original carby tomorrow...
Does anyone know if the license plate on the Red Hertz UUR 529 is original issue? It doesn't seem to fit the pattern for the California Hertz cars.
Thanks,
Dennis
