Title: Right Side Mirror
Post by: 69 GT350 Vert on December 26, 2018, 05:23:54 PM
My right mirror on my convertible keeps moving out of adjustment every time I drive.  I assume the mechanism inside has gotten weak and the vibration from driving cause the glass to move.  Essentially, it is like driving without a right side mirror.

Does anyone know if this can be fixed or do I need a new mirror?  Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks.

East fix. I just did mine after 49-1/2 years. Remove it from the door and you can access the screw inside.

Twist   mirror  push it all the way to the right then u can see the screw that holds mirror to mounting bracket tighten the single phillips screw so mirror glass locks back into mounting bracket. A common problem on rh dual mirrors

Yep, Ed is correct. I was thinking the whole mirror assembly had worked loose like in my case.
