Wonder why some 68 GT convertible with stripes and some without.

At this point some 50 years after the cars were built, its hard to sort out whats correct. Which stripes are you referring to?
I believe that the "C" stripe was part of the GT package, but the rocker stripes could be special ordered
you could get a gt with side stripes (lower) c stripes or delete stripe. c stripe I think is most common. phred
