Phred:   Im not sure that this was ever serviced by Ford.    Theres is no mention of it in any of the Ford parts books that I have .  Ive never seen one since Ive been restoring these cars.  Interesting topic though

They did service them but never seen any.  I have quality copies made out of same 3M material
Unlike other repos they are longer to wrap under hood like early cars or can be cut at hood edge for later cars

after discussing with Mongo  on the phone I pulled out my  Ford 1970 dated OSI   (Obsolete - Supersede)   book and found the part numbers as being Not replaced in l970  so if they were available it wasn't very long.  He had never seen any nos and neither have I and thats a lot of years between all of us

I have a NOS S8MS-16B907-A in the box with instructions. I think I bought this somewhere between 72-74. Ordered both sides but only one recieved. Box says Ford Service Parts.

Back then Ford dealers could punch in a part number and print out a list of dealers still showing it on their inventory.  Im guessing thats how you got it. your dealer  probably bought it from another dealer since Ford dropped the part in 1970    cool that you still have it
