Title: Cobra on Display at 1964 New York International Auto Show
Post by: BGlover67 on February 16, 2019, 12:54:17 PM
This is a slide being offered by someone on eBay (hence the large marking).  I'm sure you experts already know what CSX number this car is.

Boy were those some cool times.  The stand up ashtray and the guy leaning on the aluminum bodywork really goes to show you how they were just another sports car back then and not valued at three times the average price of a house in the United States!

Yes, a great era.  When was the last time you saw a 13-ish year-old boy (and possibly his friends or brothers next to him) wearing a sport coat and tie to a car show?

Looks like an early example, no side vents and 5.5" chrome wire wheels.

The large text over the photo is covering the side vents. That is CSX2316.
