The mounting hardware that came with my Koni's for the fronts used rubber washers to center the bottom of the shock studs in the spring seat.
There's an issue there with that.
The holes provided in the spring seat for the shock studs are 1/2". The od of the studs is 3/8". As a result the shocks move too much in the seat.
OTHER THAN replacing those collared rubber washers, is there an alternative?
I'd actually consider it an adapter. A stepped flat washer with a 1/2" collar machined into a 3/4" washer.
If I had my choice, I'd look for delrin but I haven't found anything yet? Anyone?

Hi Shelbydog,
The rubber pieces should have a raised boss that seat inside the saddle holes, preventing the shock from sliding around. Are your washer just flat with no boss?

They need to be replaced. I'm looking for something more substantial then rubber washers. If I still had my lathe I'd just cut some out of delren.
