Title: FoMoCo Parts have gotten Ridiculous on eBay
Post by: BGlover67 on March 01, 2019, 11:08:59 PM
NOS??? This guy has the nerve to say, "Blemishes are from shelf wear, this item is unused".  It looks like someone left this part buried at the beach for 20 years.

Pretty bad.

If it were truly NOS, I am sure he'd want $349.99

Shelf wear?
Maybe the Continental Shelf.

I am still looking for a correct distributor...

I get frustrated with the ads...."Original Fomoco 1965-1967 Shelby 289 GT-350 Distributor"....when you open the auction, it's an Autolite or a Motorcraft, 1970, service replacement.

I think rust and pitting is shelf patina. How can he seriously list that with a straight face?  Ugh.

1690?  I used to know a guy who used that handle on this forum, but it's been years since we've heard from him.  Well, welcome new guy named 1690!

I have one in similar condition with mirror I'd sell for $3.99.

The shipping might hurt as I'll need a 36x24x24 box.
