That sure is a big tire on the back of it...I am wondering if I smell photoshopping here. FAKEbook strikes again? Or as I like to say, BRAGbook.

I posted that one and the one of it on a Trailer.  The OP posted that one but it was cropped.

It looks like the LH fender has a dent in the top fender crease; where it transitions from top to side. Is there metal in them thar fenders?

Not doubting that a Shelby can get ditched, and not be totaled, but I would have expected to see cracked fiberglas once it got pulled out.

I took those pictures in 1983 at a Shelby club autocross. The car is NOT 184, and it was repaired. The door and roof were replaced, the fender fixed.  The rest of the car had no damage.

Thanks Dave.  I remembered the name "Dave" as having the rest of the story as posted on forum 1.0, but I did not remember the "handle" CSX4781.

Again, thanks.

Lesson to be learned here: Don't let your spouse drive your Shelby? ::)

Do you know how it got flipped?  Lost control? Throttle stuck? Hit gravel in a turn? Going to fast in a turn? Did it happen fast or was it a slow motion flip?
