An interesting article on the Conrad collection. Interesting if it truly happens.

i m not sure it would be the best for him to sale all off them in one sale !!

How about this guy selling off all his original CSX Cobras?!

A like a lot of his non-Mustang cars too. Except for the pink Ford Torino Elite (or whatever it is.)
When you have so many Ford GTs that you park some of them on the roof of your "Speed Shop", you finally have enough cars.

Steve passed away RIP . His daughter who inherited them is selling the collection.

the one above the ceiling of the room below is not a full size car, it's smaller than full size.
Believe he has a Ford GT of that generation of each color except yellow.

Just looked at the photos more closely...you're correct those are smaller scale GTs.
Who makes those?

I'd heard it was a prototype of a still-born project, others may know more...

If you are referring to the ones on top of the structure at the far end of the room they are most likely the ones that were offered by Saleen back when they were finishing the 05/6 Ford GT's. You could get them as a cut in half version to hang on the wall or a both half's together version which was meant to be used as a coffee table or as a small scale display version of the full size car. I bought a cut in half side profile of a Heritage to match my car back in 07 at a Saleen open house during Woodward dream cruise week.

Auctioneers must be scrambling to get their hands on this one. 8)

Thanks for the info, Bob. I had never heard of those scale-model GTs.

Member that goes by B.M.F. on the FGT forum bought the molds and will make you one to your specifications, including Carbon Fibre.

Who is the "Waterford" collection? A museum?
-
maybe a name for a collection that doesn't have his name on it - trying to be under the radar?
-
I was curious as one of the Heirs to the Schwinn Bicycle family now makes high end road bicycles called Waterford.

OK, so the above is out. I had heard this a few days ago and have been waiting for it to surface in some form.
" ... The collection is NOT for sale. He has recently sold a few cars, but two weeks ago he also bought 7 more. The guy who wrote the article was mistaken, and as I understand it has now retracted the article and/or revised it under pressure from Mr. Conrad, who is none too pleased about having the erroneous information out there. ..."
-
He got his information from CNN.
-
Gee, they let Shane write the retraction, Im surprised he isnt asking people if they want a meal or just the burger?
He based the story off forum posts? What the heck? He could have a field day with some of the stuff posted here...
