Is Port Jefferson, NY on Long Island?
Is Hank Valadez still a Long Island Region member?
Probably not, sold 67 #2713 long ago.
Port Jefferson is smack dab in the middle of Long Island on the north shore. Mike G.
Isn't the blond guy next to the 289 Cobra in picture #2 Jack Jahoda?

I used to have a dental practice there for 10 years. Great tourist sea side town.

How were their teeth?
Do not know Jack or Hank, but I believe that the guy in front of the Cobra may be Dan Duprez.
Mike, LI Regional Rep.

Too short. No number. Munson was #15.
Just noticed this thread. Judging by that line of trees, is it possible that is Westbury Gardens?
Looks like Eisenhower Park.

Uh-Huh, I see it now. My screen didn't catch all of it ::)
SAAC 4 was held at the Downingtown Inn. It was owned by actor Mickey Rooney at the time. Since demolished and a big box store built on the site.
Maybe Ken Young can comment on the handstand. I believe it was performed on the nose of CSX 2506, which at the time had a fiberglass body. Good thing.
