Can any one lead me to the thread, or a link somewhere on the forum,  there  where a number of pages of reviews  (by one of the members) of Shelby & Ford books. I came across it the other day, and can't find it now   ::)

Any one know more about this book, or the author ?  price shown is in Australian dollars.

That book is not about the original AC Cobras nor any of the replicas. It is about a dream car/concept car made by Ford, a one off, thought up by the guy who wrote the book. It was improbably enough built on most of the ford GT frame ('05-'06) Shelby liked it and posed with it but it didn't get green lighted for production so instead the Ford GT did and 4038 were made. But then later Chris Theodore saw Ford was donating it to an auction, he got the money together and bought it. It had been disabled but since he was the one who hobbled it, he knew how to unhobble it, took it to an auction, and sold it more more than 2 million.
