Beautiful car! Congratulations.

Rex has put many years into a very exact restoration of the car . I haven't seen the car in person but given his detail oriented nature I bet it is fantastic . I hope he can be convinced to display the car at the annual Indiana SAAC Spring Fling next year. Way to go Rex.

Congrats Rex!

Congratulations - Beautiful car.

It should have won 1st place!

He would have but he decided not to do the 25 mile drive thru the pines of which is required to get first place. Rex was worried about overheating as the drive is slow more of a parade lap drive. I loaned rex some extra ign. parts to do the drive in case of a breakdown some trans. coil cap rotor points and regulators rhat could be changed if needed once they got to pebble beach. Congrats Rex and Bob Ash who did the restoration that took years to finish.

If you all attend next years IN SAAC Spring Fling you can get all the pictures you want.

Ed shouldn't that car have electronic ignition? Both of my GT40 tach drive distributors ( and two I sold) are electronic . Points would be a rare exception.
