Title: 5R529
Post by: deathsled on September 14, 2019, 02:47:38 PM
Has anyone made a concerted effort to find 5R529?  Is there any more info on this racer's whereabouts?  Morbid curiosity on my part.

Ha! The trail runs cold. Exactly what I had hoped for. I enjoy the mystery surrounding this car which of course is the basis for my book White Horse Blue Streak.  Get your free copy on Amazon on or before Thursday. Amazon rules limit how long I can offer at no charge.

Just downloaded, and started reading, the book.  But what is the story on the car?  I can't find any history?  Is it a famous lost R model?

Last whereabouts drops off after 1966 I believe. No known racing history.  In reality this car has never been found. I wrote a fictionalized account in a fantasy-horror setting.
