1965 and 1966 have different part #'s and use different amp meter cluster wiring to hookup.

The seller needs to post a picture of the back side so people can tell if it's 65 or 66. The back of the ammeter would be the determining factor. Loop = 65. Posts = 66.

the bezel is the 66 GT/pony version

It was also used on 65 pony interior cars.  The same bezel was used on standard interior 65 GT cars too, except there was camera case inserts instead of wood grain.

As mentioned, the 65 5 dial cluster should have a loop ammeter.  The rear housing is different for that style ammeter also.
