Now you know.

NOTHIN' beats the Brickyard...... 8)
It's a long drive, but gotta go again. 8)
16-17 hour drive for us.
Wonderful news. Only 3 hours from me 👍👍
I'm out. Just a tourist trap.
Probably June 17-19 2020
How about a private screening of the Ford vs Ferrari movie for all attendees? Imagine all those original Cobras and GT350's in front of the movie house.
Now we'er talkin'......++1

Imagine as a "Drive In"....
Coincidently SVRA has their Brickyard Invitational vintage races the 17-21st of June. Should make for a fantastic venue if the details can be worked out.

Is that the same group that was at SAAC-42? 8)

Doug: Indianapolis is far from being a tourist trap. The race track is an exceptional facilty. you make an excuse for every venue. why dont you belly up to the bar and show your face for once. . Track is 15 minute drive from airport
That's the stuff big daddy......++1

Yes and no. This time there will be the full complement of Group 6 (Corvette, Shelby Cobra's/GT-350's, Jaguar, Porsche, etc.) Probably looking at a 40+ field in Group 6 alone. The other run groups will have similar sized field throughout friday's practice/qualifying. Saturday and Sunday will be the actual races.

A short video of a typical Group 6 field : Turn up the volume.

I know and live in a tourist trap State. Indy is not near to being one in comparison. I am going to escape this island for awhile for a more exciting venue. 8)
Indy will be a great venue! Putting it on the calendar now and this year I am going to jump on the hotel reservations early. Shelby running good now, so no excuse to be driving a Volvo this time!
I would LOVE to attend! All I need is a trailer and a towing vehicle. Tried for #42 but to no avail. Saving my pennies NOW!!!
COOL!
Steve
What was the Host Hotel last time and was it good and was it close to the track?
I´m really happy that it will be in indy again, it was great there at saac42 and this time it will be the same, and next year road of americe in wisconsin again? ;-)
Will be there working the event as usual. Flying in, leaving the Cobra home
Dan. Bring your car!
QUESTION - IS IT JUNE 10-11-12 or 17-18-19.
The confused want to know.

So SAAC NEVER schedules a national in the actual middle of the country, and seldom anywhere approaching the middle. And on one of the rare occasions when they do, they schedule it to overlap the one Holy-Grail-Can't-Miss event for die-hard Ford fans in the central U.S. True, the Tulsa Mid-America Meet has become more of a late-model event in recent years, but it's still the best thing we've got. Scheduling the SAAC event to conflict with it is moronic.

OOPS! :o
Hi,
Has the date been officially confirmed by the organizers yet as I've seen both the 10th - 12th and the 17th - 19th of June 2020 mentioned. For people coming from overseas (i.e. Australia) we need to know for sure to make bookings.
Thanks and regards,
Moff9
The 17-19 are the correct dates, per the Saturday email
Is there any update on the host Hotel for this Venue or the past Saac 42? Just trying to book rooms.
I suspect that the host hotel with special rates will be revealed first to SAAC members via email before posting here. 8)
First and last of all when you can get a iconic location like the speedway, you take it whenever you can.
I am planning on bringing #78 from California! Looking forward to meeting everybody!!

Nice! Looking forward to seeing it again.
Sorry to say, somebody ought to tell the MCA because the latest issue of Mustang Times has it June 10th-12th.
