Race was awesome as always.......the 2 Ford GTs lead most of the race.......67 came in second behind a Ferrari and 66 dropped way back.

On the 66 not sure.....did not stay to the end but 10 hour race no telling

The 66 went off going into turn 1 and the safety crew took a while getting it back on track.

soooo readying the press release is Ford done with a factory backing on the GT or done with partnership with Ganassi????

This was the last race for the factory backed team. The cars will be available to privateers in next years IMSA series. With the growing popularity of the series, plus the growing field of different marques (Mercedes, Audi, Acura, Lexus, Porsche and Corvette) I would hope Ford will reappear sooner than later.
I'm guessing technical support will be available to those fielding the GT's next year from Ford, either directly or indirectly.
