Title: 1966 14x6 Magnum 500’s
Post by: 65fastbackk on October 13, 2019, 10:55:56 PM
Hi,

Im looking to purchase 4 magnum 500's that were said to be on a 1966 hertz Shelby.  Did the Hertz Magnum 500’s come with trim rings.  How can I ID them?

Thanks!

Hi Fastbackk,

No trim rings.  They can be ID'd with markings 795C JK 14X6 with a 3.375 backspacing.  If you find a set of wheels with the same markings but a near 4 inch back spacing, they are Chrysler/Plymouth wheels.  Don't be fooled.  These wheels are reproduced.  You might find it less painful to just go re-pop, unless you are putting an OEM GT350H car together.

Best of luck
