Title: 2016 Hertz Shelby GTH Review
Post by: FL SAAC on November 08, 2019, 09:32:35 AM
Great article on the last great Hertz Shelby GTH

" This is a very large, very rapid vehicle, and it has nontrivial inertia. In real-world terms, it’s on performance par with the 2007 Shelby GT500, not that far behind the current C7 Corvette, and of course it will absolutely eviscerate any original Shelby Mustang you come across — big block or small. "

Peter, to build on this:

" This is a very large, very rapid vehicle, and it has nontrivial inertia. In real-world terms, it’s on performance par with the 2007 Shelby GT500, not that far behind the current C7 Corvette, and of course it will absolutely eviscerate any original Shelby Mustang you come across — big block or small. "

Dont know how far he would like to take this as the GTH already has the Ford racing suspension on it. But to make it even better he should add;
1) camber plates
2) jacking rails
3) IRS stop the hop kit

Nothing will keep up with you on the track, possibly a F1 car..lol

The icing  on the cake would be a gen 5 supercharger,  we prefer a stage II . Then and only then will you own the streets and track.  I would guess that 95% of the street cars and track cars will not keep up with you.
