Yes, the moment that most (especially Brian Glover 😜) have been waiting for: one of the “original movie cars” from Gone in 60 Seconds (Eleanor) is on eBay. No affiliation. The link is below:

Is it possible to have a barn find Eleanor? 😏
Here’s the verbiage:
Opening bid of $45K (currently no bids):
1967 Shelby GT-500 Eleanor movie cars from the 2000 movie Gone in 60 seconds remake staring Nicolas Cage. The car was designed by Steve Stanford (Hot Rod illustrator) and Chip Foose. It was built by Cinema Vehicle Services (CVS). CVS built a total of 13 Eleanors .The 12 used in the movie shoots were built from regular (non Shelby) 1967 Mustang fastbacks. The 13th Eleanor was built for the movie producer from a real GT500.
Whether the two wrecked cars were rebuilt - or whether surviving shells were built up into functional cars
Seller will pay shipping If you require more details .
please give me a call at 706-905-3792.

I better start saving my pennies... :o
-
01 body code?
If they were built out of 67 fastbacks, what is this?
-
Neglected on purpose?

I prefer the original 1971 Eleanor
-
For purposes of the movie, why would they ad AC to the car? A lot about this car looks fishy to me.
-
The seller is telling the story of the movie cars, I do not see where he is specifically stating this is one of them. ::)

+ 1 caveat emptor

Purposely ambiguous no doubt
-
And, how often does the car seller offer to pay for shipping. Seems a little fishy to me.
-
excellent example of the breed and payment is in scheckles or baseball cards...
-
Now has one bid. Shill?
-
Don’t call me “Shill”!!!!!! LOL
-
Must include original movie lot dust. Otherwise, why not clean up car?
-

That will look great in your garage...out out in the field in the south forty.
Note the sideways-clocked passenger side headlight. That proves it's legit. That's how the ballers roll in H'wood. Just like how the bangers aim their handguns.

Now has one bid. Shill?
Now, now, a dealer potentially shilling an auction, say it is not so.
Reminds me of a certain Shelby dealer who did so with his personal account once ::)
-
built from a real 500...wondering if it was signed by CS...added value
-
We do not have an Eleanor movie car built from a real Shelby listed in the Registry. I would think that would have been reported to us by now.

What about the one Randy Sizemore sold the movie company? I don't think it was converted but I believe it may have been used in the last scene where a beat up 67 non elenor Shelby is given to the main character.
-
Bob,
The movie company approached me about purchacing mine.I refused because they said it was going to be a "crashum up bangum up"remake of gone in 60 seconds. Had I know it was to be used in last seen I would have rented it to them as they sugested. All that aside I was upside down in the car at $1000. HA HA
-
That car was not given to the Registry either.

-
That don’t look like Cleveland Ohio dust to me
-
So much for giving him the benefit of the doubt...here is the response to “is this an original movie car?”

Yes Sir , It a GT 500 Eleanor now need some work.
I hope he has a good attorney. I might suggest a defense of functional illiteracy.

Well " It a GT 500 Eleanor now need some work."
Is sold, sold, sold !
