This 1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1A was purchased by its current owner 12 years ago and reportedly underwent a cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in the 1990s. It is finished in white with chrome stripes over a black interior. Power is from a replacement 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and modifications include fender vents, a two-row oil cooler, an Edelbrock intake, and more. This Tiger is now offered on dealer consignment with a body-color removable hardtop, removed parts, and a clean Oregon title listing it as a 1967 model.

A refurbishment reportedly carried out in the 1990s included a repaint in white, along with the installation of chrome Tiger stripes on the rear of the vehicle. Vents have been added to the hood and front fenders, and the car is fitted with a body-color removable hardtop.

13” LAT 9 aluminum wheels wear Grand Am Radial G/T tires. The car is equipped with traction bars, and the selling dealer states that the mid-floors have been replaced.

The interior is trimmed in black with matching carpets and door panels, and the car is fitted with double roll hoops. The car is reportedly fitted with a Robbins soft top.

The aftermarket wood-rimmed steering wheel fronts a wood dashboard that houses a 140-mph speedometer and an aftermarket 7k-rpm Smiths tachometer. The five-digit odometer shows 86k miles, and true mileage is unknown.

The original 260ci V8 has been replaced with a five-bolt 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. A refurbishment performed approximately 25 years ago reportedly including rebuilds of the engine and transmission, the latter of which was modified with a higher-ratio first gear. The car is equipped with aftermarket valve covers, headers, a two-row oil cooler, and an Edelbrock Hi-Rise intake. The factory valve covers and exhaust headers are included in the sale, and one header is broken.

A copy of the original certificate of title shows the car was initially titled in June 1967 in Westlake, Ohio.

Current bid is $25,000 with more than 2 days left.

If I still owned my bodyshop, I'd be bidding on this one:

Looks like a lot of damage, but you would be surprised what a good bodyman can do with a frame rack and a set of hammers and hand dollies.

Thanks for positing Brian... will be interesting to see how it goes.
That looks like a very sharp car, IMHO the tiger tail stripes look good on there as well.
