Have you ever seen a vintage EFI Shelby run?
Standby upload coming soon....

I would like to see and hear. Perhaps at SAAC 45? 8)

Well, we need to work on the videography and sound, but here is “proof of life”.
This is a real 1968 GT500, that was used for testing Electronic Fuel Injection.
More as time permits....

This GT500 (serial number 101) is only the second original EFI car to be resurrected since the Shelby program was shut down 50 years ago.
This car and Craig Jackson’s “Green Hornet” are the only two, original functioning EFI cars.
Shelby had originally planned to make all 1969 Shelbys EFI equipped with these systems. But, that didn’t happen.
Tuning tomorrow and more video

Very cool, Pete. Thanks for sharing. What's the CFM rating?
-
Gee, I am not sure....but I know it makes more torque and better horsepower than the stock engine.
The 4 barrel throttle bodies were made specifically for Shelbys

Very nice....great job.
Jose is smiling right now.

He is very happy, probably happy the long wait is nearly over.
