---THE 24 HOUR WAR---
Was scrolling through Netflix and came across this documentary. Was released in 2016 and has rare footage and goes back to the grass roots of Ford and to the 1966 LeMans. Plenty of cool footage, interviews with several who were there, Drivers, Mechanics, etc..
Also, rare footage with Ferrari team players as well.
The last several minutes also has footage and commentary on the 67 LeMans as well.
If this has been posted before, my apologies.

Thanks for the heads up! I didn't know it was on Netflix and I've been wanting to watch of.
Also noticed that a new documentary "Shelby American" just appeared on Netflix https://www.netflix.com/au/title/81218074
Will definitely put that on my "Over the Thanksgiving Holiday" watch list 😎👍🏻
69 mach,
I watched it about 5 days ago
It is one of the best Carroll vs Enzo movies ever.
I would say that about 1/2 or more was era ( 60's ) correct film and pictures.
Tells a story, more like a documentary, but yet better.
Lots said about Henry Ford II and Edsel.
Many great action shots.
Miles was shown many times, as was Carroll, Gurney and all the other greats, on both sides of the aisle/.
Worth your time guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HS...++1👍🏻👍🏻
I watched the "Shelby American" documentary this morning on Netflix.
Loved it.
The ONLY thing I had trouble with is hearing the voices of the people!! The background music was louder than the people speaking and several times I lost what they where saying >:(
My hearing isn't all that great over years of racing and machining :(
Me too. Watched it this morning...VERY good!
Happy Holidays!
Steve

I watched 'SHELBY American' two days ago, really good, but I noticed it was hard to hear also. As for supporting the producers, it lists Shelby's son and grandsons as being them. Are they in a bad way financially? ::)
I saw Ford v Ferrari, The 24 Hour War and Shelby American over the holiday, so I got my fill of that period in history. The Netflix features are produced by Adam Corrola and there are several video clips that are used in both. I enjoyed all of them.
I'm also watching an Amazon Prime series called The Racing Years that covers 1950-1959 which gives a great run up to the 60's era. Fangio, Moss, Ascari and more. It's pretty cool.

Great story with some details told that I hadn't heard before, but it was very difficult to hear over the music.
