The one with the red insulator  C6-B . I have seen that in GT350's also.

Is that a single stud or dual?

The '67 500 and 350 take a single stud temperature sender.

I know this is late but It's a single terminal. You'll also want to only use a Ford sender. It's a C6 part number. There were a couple on Ebay for 45.00.
I also noted that the aftermarket units show a higher reading on the gauge.  I'm currently in NYC so I don't have the ability to provide you a picture and part number.

Do you know what the entire part number is for the original?  I've tried several aftermarket ones and they are reading abnormally high at around 3/4 of the scale rather then about 50%.

I'm thinking that the simplest solution is to get an original Ford sender. Other then that it will be screwing around with a resistor in line and I'd rather avoid that.

That was the same issue I had. They read about 3/4 on the gauge. I even purchased the U.S. Made Borg-Warner replacement.  I physically checked the coolant temperature and I was in the 190 range with the 3/4 reading. Obviously it should read the first line on the low side of the gauge at that temperature.
After purchasing the Ford original that is precisely where it reads. Just a bit over in traffic.

There is a Scott Drake reproduction part listed under that part number.

Keith, did you use an original or the Scott Drake part?

I would think at 190 the gauge should read a little below the middle?

Doug:
I bought a Ford NOS sender for 45.00 from Ebay to replace the brand new Borg-Warner unit. I knew If I could put my hand on the top tank and it didn't burn me it wasn't at the 220 range.
