Jim or Brant sell a very nice repro Crager lug wrench if that is what you need. I haven't seen a genuine for sale in years.There are very small nuance differences.

Hi Martin,

I am assuming you want the 13/16 lug wrench for the jack, not the 7/8 lug wrench for Cragar lug nuts.  Please confirm.

The 13/16 lug wrench for jack is very common.  The trick is finding a nice one for a descent price.

Here is one for not crazy money.  Is this the one?

Best of luck

I have several of these, if you can give me specifics, pictures or descriptions, I can probably hook you up with one at a reasonable price.
Thanks, Karl

I have a really correct 7/8" lug wrench for the Cragars. One I am missing is for the jack itself.

Keep in mind that there are two styles of handles  ;). Which style do you want ? The 64-65 open handle or the later closed 65-66 handle ?

Hi Bob,

Please see the below three versions of the 13/16 lug/jack wrenches.

I believe they are, based on your description for the 64-66 wrenches:

A = mid 66 to end of 66

B = mid 65 to early 66

C = 64 and very early 65

Correct me where I am mistaken and I will update this post.

Thanks

Cory

Hi Bob,

I believe they are, based on your description for the 64-66 wrenches:

A = 65-66 later (closed)

C = 67-68 (heavy duty)

B and A are virtually the same . What you have as B most likely evolved into A.  C was not typically used in 67/68 because the hex lug folding handle was . http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/2012/01/mustang-ratchet-style-jack-handle.html

A later 200 series '65 GT350 most likely had the typical closed handle ratchet lug wrench.

There's actually another version of the open handle, but wouldn't apply here.

Hi Bob,

So is "C" what you are calling "open" and is the later version for 65-66?

Thanks

C is not used for most of 65 or any of 66. It is the earlier style .And of course not for 67/68 .

Hi Bob,

I am confused.  I can't tell from your description what is the application for the "C" version.  Are you saying it is 64 and very early 65?  Are you calling "C" the open version?

Thanks

Cory ,I am not sure why the confusion . Take a look at Brants blog and pictures . Maybe that will be easier. http://blog.virginiaclassicmustang.com/2012/01/mustang-ratchet-style-jack-handle.html

Hi Bob,

I think the confusion is based on my paradigm.  I always thought the "C" version was 67-68.  It seams stronger than the "A" and "B" version and would be a design improvement.  The Virginia Mustang link your attached is not completely working and only showing the "C" version for me. I have updated the image in my earlier post.  Is it correct now?

A = mid 66 to end of 66

B = mid 65 to early 66

C = 64 and very early 65

Thanks

Cory

C picture looks like it has a more correct definition now. I am not comfortable enough with a date to assign a cut off on when the picture B and picture A transitioned.

Hi Bob,

Okay, so the order is "C" - "B" - "A".  Very interesting.  This is completely different from my prior perceptions.

Thank you for the dialog.
