Title: 67 GT350 Paxton Air Cleaner Radiator Support Cutout
Post by: Fastback66 on January 30, 2020, 04:36:30 PM
Looking for insight into how the air cleaner cutout was shaped and how it was cut in the radiator support for the 67 Paxton cars. It's my understanding the 66's were a round hole with a screen but the 67's were done a little differently.  Pictures and or commentary are appreciated.

Thanks.

The air inlet opening for the 1967 350 Paxton cars was typically a rectangular opening.  The opening was crudely cut into the radiator support and was approximately a 2.5"x4" opening (I do not have the exact size).  The pictures shown are of original Paxton cars, #2310 and #2289.  No screen was used.
