Title: GT 350 rear shocks still have orange paint daub?
Post by: Rukiddin on February 11, 2020, 12:57:06 PM
The stock/original front and rear Gabriel adjustable shocks are a dark blue color ,but since build sheets list rears as orange code do the rear/blue shocks still have orange daub? Thanks

No orange paint daub on any of the 68 blue adjustable Autolite shocks on the Shelby's. However the rear non adjustable black painted shocks on GT00KR's with manual transmissions ( staggered rear shocks )do have an orange paint daub. Build sheets list orange only on this application, not on other 68 Shelby's.

Agree with Rodney never seen a GT350 with an orange code on build sheet

After I re-read the info on your site (fantastic, thanks) I think I know how I got confused. Shocks will remain blue w/o any markings. Sorry for the many questions. Trying to do this once and as correct as I can afford......
