I just read where Bruce Willis owned a 1968 Shelby GT 500 that he recently sold for $161,000. Who owns it now?
In Jay Leno's words: You sell stock. You never sell your Shelby. I wish I could find that clip where he says it while driving his 65. They took it off YouTube a while back.
Here's the blog post that quotes Leno but the videos are conveniently removed.

You might find more information here...Bruce's taste differs a little from my own

You obviously are not a green person. Neither am I for that matter but that appears to be Highland Green with saddle interior. It was popular enough. Perhaps too popular?
Lime probably was more popular but it was the '60s and it went better with the blue and white striped bell bottoms and orange shirt. I don't think pink framed glasses had appeared as of yet? My memory is "hazy".
"They" tell me it was "drugs, sex and rock and roll"? 8)
We like green Shelbys, just that green top is a big turn off
That why we give it two YIKEs down.....Eyyyyyy!

Topless is always better.
Actually you can do worse. Someone in the past made "snake skin tops".
I find that you don't even need a convertable to ride around with the top down all day. Just not in Florida. You can get burned to a crisp. Then YOU will have snake skin.
Crispy and topless just how we like our bacon and....
Back to the green Shelby
