You can see the dozens of other titles the seller has by clicking on the other items link.
If you click on "other items" and then scroll down the left side of the page and click on "completed items", you can see what sold and for how much. :o
Always good to report these, it's against listing practices. Surprised the seller gets away with selling some.
Not sure what the status of the hi-po registry is, but would be nice to have it reported there in case an 'air' car is created from a title. www.hipo-mustang.com
This guy has made about $75,000 since December 1 doing this!!

I don't believe the authorities have the time or the gumption to chase down the single car issues, but if this is a factory of producing fraudulent titles, I would think that would get somebody's attention in a hurry.

Why are the titles fraudulent? The titles still exist even though the car has probably gone back to the earth. Fraud would occur if someone attached the number to a different car. But even that is possible if you have law enforcement looking over your shoulder.

If they're real, I guess not. To me, it sounded like he could come up with any title you needed.

If they were just junk/collectibles, they wouldn't be selling for hundreds of dollars. There's only 1 reason for someone to buy a title and that's if they need it.
True that the authorities won't pursue single title issues UNTIL it becomes a "problem",like your personal restored jewel that has been stolen, now has a different serial number and offered for sale! Happens more than you think. Insurance companies pay the claim and attempt to find/prosecute/recover best they can. If you buy a stolen car you will lose it AND purchase cost if caught. No time limits apply. Now think about what this seller is attempting to do........he disappears and leaves many parties in turmoil. Not funny. Call it "identity theft" ,but with cars.......expensive cars.
