Can anyone recommend someone who restores/repairs 1967 Shelby wood steering wheels?
Am posting for my brother who has a 1967 GT350. Apparently a 4-5" crack appeared recently after all these years. I have not seen the damage first hand.
We are in Northern CA. Am trying to get him motivated to drive our Shelbys to this years SAAC in Sonoma.
Thanks
Jeff Stephens is a professional wood cabinetmaker in Binghamton, New York and also operates a business called Shelby Wood Steering Wheel Restoration.
He has been restoring Shelby and other wood steering wheels since 1985, and is considered by many to be "the man" for Shelby real wood steering wheel restoration. I have known him probably that long and he has done wheels for me with outstanding results.
