After thorough research and compelling information, I've determined THIS is what is actually correct for my car! Four is always better than two! 😝

Thanks everyone!! Great answers and verification. My car has a bunch of unique items that seem "out of place" compared to the norm. Definitely makes it more interesting and a challenge too. I appreciate the responses and links! You guys are awesome! 👍👍👍

What's considered correct on the underdash gauges screws or no screws on the center vertical trim piece?

My cars original gauge pack has zero holes in the trim piece nor the rally pack bracket? Zero! It's never been off the car that I can tell. All the repo stuff and even the assembly drawings show screws. Which is considered "correct"? I've seen plenty with zero screws but 3 times more with screws?

Thanks! Matt

Happy 4TH everyone!!!

Trying to get my front end finished up. What's the finish for the upper and lower grills, in boards??

Mine currently has a semi phosphate appearance. Many thanks!!

That's a 1/8 scale diecast. It's typically a subscription type of diecast, you get a couple pieces every month. Nice cars, I forget the brand but they have horrible customer service and obtaining all the pieces is a challenge.

Randy,
The car looks fantastic!! Can you give the tire specs please? I'm trying to get a good idea on sizing. I think the 225/65 up front and 245/60 for the rears will be what I use. I'm a little nervous as I don't have the tires to mock up before paint. Can you post any closer pics of the tires and possibly fender/ quarter panel up close shots? Any help would be great!! It's hard to determine these tire sizes without have something to go by. Only other car I've found has different sizes front and back.
Thanks!!!

Thanks JD!!

I've tried to PM 1690. I'll try again. Many thanks for the pics! That helps a ton! I found when blasting mine the original area and adhesive residue was much larger than what I found as pictured. 👍👍👍

I cannot find any images out there, anywhere, on this wiring harness clip. This is based off of my memories but does this clip look correct? Any details or dimensions of an original or pics? I've reached out to a few here but no responses yet?

Thanks!!

What has everyone used to replace the plastic sleeving on the in board light harness? Mine is a 5/16" thin wall sleeve, almost like pneumatic tubing? Having some time finding such an animal!

Also, didn't we have a member here making the wiring harness clips that hold the wiring harness in place with self sticky tape?? I can seemed to track those down either!

Thanks guys for the help!!

I'm currently restoring my car and after layers of paint removal from the hood latch support bracket and in board lights bracket. What finish is this bracket? What finish are the headlight buckets as well?

The hardware holding my buckets on appears to be original as well, what finish are these? Everything was painted over and over!! I believe the hood latch and striker are a phosphate finish. Any help and suggestions is greatly appreciated!!

Regards,
Matt

Thanks everyone!! That explains a bunch. My car actually though is in the 7R174600's? It was built March 23, 1967, San Jose. I'll try and check my buddy's car too, his is the consecutive car to mine from San Jose. This helps, I thought I had something else! 👍👍👍
