Thanks Jeff for the reply.  Going with paper with a clear film over the top.  My computer skills are poor at best so I'm leaving it to the pros for help in recreating tag.  May need to do a couple of
iterations to get it correct.

Thanks

Mike

Yes sir Bob I did receive the picture, however the company I am using was having trouble identifying the font.  They also questioned the timing number being correct as they only had made engine tags with the 6 degree timing number for 428 cars and I had no owners manual to refer to.  Appreciate your response to square me away on the correct number.  If this engine tag turns out well I will have a half dozen or so made and send them to those that might need one.

Thanks Mike

I am also working on having an engine decal made for my '67 GT 500, manual, no a/c and no thermactor.  Trying to verify factory timing.
Is it 8 degrees as the NPD sticker reflects in this thread or is it 6 degrees as found for 428 CJ cars?  Motor built designation is a D for Dearborn, thanks to Mr. Bob Gaines.
Trying to figure out font for the D and timing number?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks;
Mike

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 67 GT 500 Brake Booster
« on: May 08, 2019, 08:46:48 PM »
No Ford or Midland logo.  No red dot on vacuum valve or booster body.  Is painted black semi gloss.  Banding is representative with a band and bolt and nut to secure the band.
I have another rebuilt booster from Booster Dewy in Portland and it has Midland embossed on the body but it appears to be a newer body with additional copyright numbers stamped on it.

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 GT 500 Brake Booster
« on: May 08, 2019, 08:08:59 PM »
Does the power brake booster have the Midland name embossed somewhere on the body to identify it as the Midland manufacturer? Or was a tag attached with C-4262-M on one of the securing bolts?  Recently picked up a booster for rebuild and was told it came off a '67 mustang.  The booster does not have any identifying marks to suggest it was a Midland.  For all I know it could be a NAPA brand.  Hate to send it out for rebuild if it isn't correct. Thank you for your help.

Thank you Bossbill for providing additional clarity.  After reviewing your list I find I am short the 7C307 spring.  Can you tell me its purpose and where it is positioned on the shifter control?

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / 67 GT 500 4 speed shifter rebuild
« on: April 26, 2019, 05:20:56 PM »
I'm in the process of rebuilding the shifter in my car.   Have it dismantled and ready for plating. Was wondering if someone could provide the correct platting of the shifter control, shift rods and bracket to attach the control to the transmission?
The shifter box and arms appear clear cad or zinc?  The rods look like phosphate and oil and the bracket was painted black. Don't know if the previous owners had done an prior work.  Thank you for your help.
