FWIW.... I have seen this car in person..... to me it is far nicer than a driver plus condition example.

The owner is very meticulous with all his cars, and this in no exception. It is to say the least, outstanding.

22 years was a long time for one of those cars to wear original paint relative to the big picture. It was not uncommon to do a paint job after 5 or 6 years for sixties built cars . Fading and oxidation problems of certain colors because of less evolved paint formulas of the day was the main reason .

+1 especially residing in the sun and heat of GA and TX.....

The serial number range I made mention of, was just my limited observations by memory........

So if appx. 20% is a deduction for non-original engine, what about a transmission ?   Either by itself or combined with a wrong engine ?

Why are folks constantly busting Dave balls on this?

When itís done, its done.

When itís printed, itís printed.

When you receive it, you will receive it.

Give it a rest -

I don't think anyone has been busting anyone's balls over this, and I don't think that asking or following up periodically on a Registry that was initially indicated to be out last year is being unreasonable.  We all realize that last year was taxing on individuals and some businesses but I think the membership has been more than patient.

How about we all come up with a fictitious part wanted (Muffler bearings) and post a wanted ad and see if the scumbag has one. Then we can decide who was the most creative on their fictitious part wanted. Gary

Gary,

I need a left hand threaded skyhook for my car ?  :)

Since we are on the gauge pod .... any body seen or heard about the amp and oil press gauges swapped around for visibilty to the driver ?

I had an owner tell me it was a Calif thing.... when you move the oil press to the right side, its easier for the driver to see... and who cares about amps......

When I got my '67 in San Diego, the gauges were swapped this way.... bass ackwards.

Totally good with a 1-time modest donation. Would be a good check and balance in my opinion. Hell, Iíd pay retro!  There is a hellofalotta value to be had here in my opinion.

Why not just become a SAAC member ?
